Founded in 1951, Amideast is a leading American nonprofit organization engaged in international education, training, and development activities through permanent offices in 11 countries across the Middle East and North Africa. For over 70 years, Amideast has supported public and private educational institutions to upgrade and develop curricula, build management and teaching staff capacities, and enable students of all ages to develop critical 21st century skills. Through strategic partnerships with private sector companies and various ministries of youth and education, Amideast designs and implements STEM educational programs across the region. These programs immerse youth in technical digital skills, robotics, environmental engineering, sustainable development, and design thinking and innovation.
